I want to extend a HUGE "Thank You" to everyone who so graciously reviewed for me this year. I appreciate it more than you can know. Out of my 11 nominations, I placed just twice, but I am absolutely thrilled that my Faerie story "If You Could See What I Hear" received first place in its category, Mid-third Age: Eriador!!! I worked very hard on it for an entire year and did lots of research into the Celtic Otherworld myths and legends, and last year it placed 3rd in the WIP category. Thank you to everyone who supported it, and an extra thanks to Dreamflower for her beta and to Pearl Took for her assistance with the story - you ladies shall always rock big time in my book!

In addition to that, a new WIP, "Turning Points" received third place in the work-in-progress category, another really cool surprise! Thank you so much for your comments on all of my noms!

I don't think a lot of folks realize how much research goes into some of our stories.

This is very true. For me, "If You Could See What I Hear" was a labour of love from start to finish and I thoroughly enjoyed the research. Thank you for the congrats, Shirebound! *Hugs*
